Summary of course: This advanced-level, two-day course builds on the Dementia Professional Level 1 course (CMCP certification) and is specifically designed for directors and managers. The focus of these additional two sessions is operations, regulatory issues, leadership skills, building a dream team, and teaching and motivating adult learners. Upon successful completion of the Dementia Professional Level 1 course, this course, and their respective exams, students will earn the Qualified Member Care Profession (QMCP) certification.
The course will provide a very hands-on, participatory training that will advance your expertise in memory care.

Who Should Attend: All staff who regularly interacts with residents dealing with dementia. Attendees must have earned or renewed the CMCP Certification within the prior 24 months.
CEU Info: This two-day course qualifies for up to 14 CEUs.
Registration Fee Info: Members of LAIN and IHPCO pay $550. Non-members pay $700 (Eligible LAIN Samaritan Alliance members pay $275.)
Minimum Enrollment Requirement: A minimum enrollment of 6 is required to hold this course. Determination that minimum enrollment is met will be made on 3/6/2025. Please register early!
